Skip, Honest John, Alexei Sayle, Arthur Daley.

Bat

Right Hand Bat

Bowling

Right Arm Dibbly Dobblys

Top class fielder with a very strong arm, a big hitter in the Lindfield mould (a little more finesse though), can be heard humming "ello john, got a new mota" and "I'll be so good for you". Also played with everyone from Vince Wells to Windsor Davies.

Martin Barry
A.K.A. Berty
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Medium

The club's highest run scorer, part time wicket keeper, a cutting sledger, can be heard whispering words of encouragement to the opposition batsmen. Used to model for Freemans catalogue.

Laurence Coleman
A.K.A. Flo, Ted Bovis, Louie The Lip
Bat  Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Legspin

On the pitch he's one of the most vocal in the team, he has a habit of pulling faces at the bowlers as they are coming in to bowl. Only has to say one word to his younger brother to get a reaction, much to the team's amusement.

Paul Brookes
A.K.A. Brooksy, Miser, Statto, Stroppy, Champion, Dobbin
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Medium

Probably the club's finest all rounder. Bowls for hours on end, constantly frustrating the opposition batsmen. Has been known to pick up the odd gold medal in the equestrian. Has been known to kick lumps out of the turf when taken off after a 3 over spell. Also believed to have the strongest throwing arm in the club, constantly reaching the wicket keeper on the 42nd bounce. A very polite sledger with the odd "bum" thrown in.

Victor Walcott
A.K.A. The Bishop, Vicar, Bournville, Powderpuff
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Fast

Probably the quickest bowler to grace the East Sussex League, if you're an opposition batsman and you last long enough you will know how many teeth he has because he smiles at you after you've just tried to hook him…be warned the next ball will take your head off. Known to tell a great story or two in the bar after the game.

Paul Lindfield
A.K.A. Linders, Barney Rubble, Caveman, Murali
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Offspin

On his day can be seen smacking the ball into the adjacent fields, wandering up the wicket and laughing at the bowler while offering advice. Another vocal player, can make his team mates squirm with his tirade of abuse. Has been up in front of an appeal panel regarding his dodgy bowling action...has an annoying habit of dislocating parts of his anatomy and wearing big clothes to make himself look thin.

Richard Coleman
A.K.A. The Soldier, Petal, Shrek, Baldy
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Fast Medium

Without a doubt the best fielder in the club, "long barrier" means something you may see in a car park to him. Any ball that goes in his direction is regularly greeted with silence, followed by sniggers. Can also be seen blowing a gasket when his brother offers him support.

Keith Hobbs
A.K.A. Hobbsy, Basil, Sir Jack
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Fast Medium

Fastly catching Vic up as the quickest bowler in the club. Can also be seen laughing at umpires after not getting an LBW decision. Another premier fielder and BBC stalwart, married to Cybil and has a live in waiter called Manuel.

Chris Philcox
A.K.A. Pretty Boy, Peacock
Bat Right Hand Bat
Bowling Right Arm Medium
Classy batsman and fielder. Can be seen running in at point waving hands like demented animal. Also has this uncanny knack of not showering in front of his team mates.
